SMIT TEXTILE opens new service centre in Hangzhou, PRC

SMIT TEXTILE has a longstanding presence in China, where the technical features of its products combined with a widespread service are highly appreciated in any application range.

SMIT TEXTILE operates locally through its sales representative SMITCO LTD, who fully responds to the challenging growth of the Chinese market, giving comprehensive support and prompt solutions to customer needs.

The Chinese textile industry is the largest in the world, reaching one third of the global textile production and representing the most important market for textile machinery, an opportunity that SMIT TEXTILE meets both with the introduction of innovative weaving machines and with the provision of thorough services.

The company's goal is to strengthen the relationship with Chinese textile industry through product excellence, quality and
creativity ensured by its machinery, together with excellent pre- and after sale service. The new Service Centre will provide customers with weaving expertise, tests, training, technical assistance and Original Spare Parts service.

Learning how to use and service weaving machines is extremely important to ensure their optimal performance. Basic and advanced courses, but also customized training programs, are held at SMIT TEXTILE Service Centres, in order to meet specific organizational requirements of each textile company.

Promotion in China:
Intensive promotional activity has been carried out by SMIT TEXTILE, attending the most important event of the Chinese market:
• CISMEF, China International Small and Medium Enterprise Fair, held in September 2006, promoted by Italian Government, by Central Chinese Ministries for Finance and Commerce and Guandong Province Government
