Jaybharat Textiles declares 5% dividend for 2006-07

Jaybharat Textiles & Real Estate Ltd has informed that the members at the 22nd Annual General Meeting of the Company held on June 09, 2007, inter alia, have transacted the following business:
1. Audited Annual Accounts for the year ended as at March 31, 2007 together with Auditors and Directors Report thereon along with Schedules and Annexure thereto were duly adopted.

2. Declared 5% dividend for the year 2006-07.

3. Shri. Romil Aggarwal, Subhash Chandra Nigam & Shri. Harinder Kumar, Directors of the Company who retired by rotation were re-appointed.

4. M/s. Sanjay & Vijay Associates, Chartered Accountants were re-appointed as Statutory Auditor of the Company.

5. Confirmed the appointment of Gaurav Aggarwal & Mahendra Kumar Aggarwal, as Directors who were appointed by the Board as an Additional Director.

6. Confirmed the appointment of Shri. Gaurav Aggarwal, as Managing Director for period of 3 years who was appointed by the Board as on September 18, 2006.

7. Authorized to the Board of Directors to offer, issue and allot:
• In the course of one or more international offering, in one or more foreign market, and / or.

• In the course of one or more domestic offering in India.

Incorporated on 21.2.1985, as Classic Synthetic and Silk Mills Ltd and name changed on 27.4.1989 to Jaybharat Sarees Ltd. Recently foraying into realty business and hence changed name to Jaybharat Textile and Real Estate Limited.

The company is presently engaged in the textile business of Ring doubling of cotton yarn and Manufacturing of cotton yarn by Rotor Spinning at Gujarat.
