Running from July 10 – 13, 2007, the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/ Summer 2008 will be flavored by three new zones. The new zones are expanding the depth and breadth of the fair. It is expected that over 1,100 exhibitors will join this important event for the fashion industry.

Emporium de Mode, Infant & Children's Wear and Spice Arena are added to this international trade platform for the fashion world. Emporium de Mode is a showcase for quality apparel that features eye-catching designs, displayed in an appropriately elegant environment.

Spice Arena puts extra zing into the fair by focusing on accessories, including headwear, footwear and ladies' scarves and handbags.

While Infant & Children's Wear Zone highlights a booming sector of the younger market, focusing on babies and kids clothing, where design and quality are becoming more and more important.

Other popular zones, namely Garment & Accessories Mart, Body & Intimate Wear Zone, Bridal & Evening Wear Zone and Fashion Gallery will also make a welcome return this year, making it easier for buyers to source for the right products at the fair.

Another highlight will be the Hong Kong New Fashion Collection Award 2007. With the aim to encourage Hong Kong enterprises to build their own collections and brandnames, it is the seventh time the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organises this competition. The award is divided into three categories: Formal Attire, Office Attire and Casual & Jeans-wear.
