IDEAL chooses Unifi's eco-friendly repreve yarn for sustainable zippers

As the industry goes green, it is easy to overlook the details. The fabric is recycled, but what about the trim? Those details can add up. IDEAL Fastener estimates that for every 150 IDEAL Earth™ jacket zipper tapes1 or 500 IDEAL Earth pant zipper tapes2 manufactured with Repreve, an equivalent to one gallon of gasoline will be conserved. Eco-conscious manufacturers are beginning to pay attention to the small details which can make a big difference.
