The DOGI Group will concentrate its head office and its activity in Spain in a new centre located in El Masnou, Barcelona.

The Group's new production unit in Spain will concentrate the activity that until now has been carried on in the plants in El Masnou, Cardedeu and Parets.

The centre will become a benchmark and a centre of excellence of the Group, will be fitted with the latest technology in the textile industry and environmental technology in the sector and will let optimum levels of efficiency, effectiveness and profitability be achieved.

In line with the message launched by the Group's new CEO, Karel Schröder, at the company's recent General Shareholders' Meeting, the new production centre will be adapted to the reality of the European market.

Accordingly, the company has submitted to the Department of Employment of the Regional Government of Catalonia an application for a redundancy process which will affect 170 of the 465 workers the multinational employs in Spain.

The purpose of these actions is to eliminate uncertainty and guarantee a solid, stable and sustainable platform for the future.

The Spanish multinational will make its strategic plan public to a group of analysts and investors on 10th and 11th July, in Barcelona and Madrid respectively.
