Material World launches ultimate sourcing solution

Taking advantage of the expansive scope of international garment producing and fabric resources exhibiting in the September 25-27, 2007 edition of Material World New York at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, registered attendees will now be able to match their needs directly with suppliers prior to stepping onto the show floor.
By simply completing the Ultimate Sourcing Solution Global Matchmaking form on the Material World website – attendees will receive a comprehensive list of appropriate sourcing opportunities available at the show – matching their needs by production and/or fabric category and geography.
“Our focus for Material World has always been on bringing sourcing managers and fabric purchasers together with the best suppliers and producers from around the globe and our new matchmaking service takes the show to a whole new level,” explains Tim von Gal, president, Material World.
“Now attendees will be able to quickly find and meet with manufacturers, mills and other service providers that can best meet their most immediate needs, freeing up more time to explore other new resources to build and enhance their business.”
Through a proprietary web-enabled system, participating attendees complete a simple online form, indicating their industry categories of interest. These attendees will then be matched directly with exhibiting companies offering complementary capabilities.
Once at the show, these registered Material World Matchmaking attendees will report to the Material World Matchmaking Lounge located on the show floor to receive their exclusive list of exhibiting companies that match their categorical and geographical sourcing interests. Individual introductions will be made with representatives from those companies selected by the attendee.
