Bramco Industries has adopted earth friendly Innova yarns for use in a new line of sweaters targeted for National Department Store Retailers. Adding to their well-known brand of Spunky Knits, Bramco introduces the earth friendly sweaters under its newest brand collection "GTG Green."
"When we first learned about the opportunity to collaborate with American Fibers and Yarns Company to create a yarn suitable for a sweater collection, we were immediately compelled to allocate significant resources in making the product both cost effective and producible at mass levels," said Brad Barnett, president and CEO of Bramco Industries.
"Consumers are becoming much more eco-conscious and are looking for apparel alternatives that fit this category. Without compromising quality and performance, we have been able to produce a product that is a "cut above organic."
Compared to other synthetics Innova yarns: - Require less energy to produce - Produce the least waste generation of synthetic fibers; none of it harmful industrial waste - Do not require potentially harmful topical treatments for performance - Are recyclable
"The Innova yarns bring an entirely new level of fashion, comfort and performance to sweaters," said Marc Feder, vice president of Bramco Industries. "In addition to the environmental attributes, the GTG Green collection offers significant inherent benefits not found in other yarns, and exceeds standard industry requirementsfor quality and durability. All these factors combined, better help us meet the needs of the environmentally conscious consumers' active lifestyles."
