More than 33,000 Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) woolgrower shareholders have this week been mailed information outlining their voting entitlements for the company's 2005 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM is being held at 2pm on Wednesday 9 November in West Beach, Adelaide, South Australia and will be preceded by an AWI information forum for woolgrowers.
The mailout details individual shareholder voting entitlements, calculated on levy data supplied by wool brokers and sellers to the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and also advises shareholders of their new shareholder registration number (SRN).
Shareholders are entitled to one vote for every $100 of wool levy paid in the past three financial years.
AWI Deputy CEO and Company Secretary Les Targ said shareholders should check that their voting entitlement as specified in the letter was correct.
"Any questions or concerns regarding voting entitlement must be resolved before 27 September 2005 - inquiries will be dealt with after this date but may not be finalised in time for the 2005 AGM," Mr Targ said.
The AGM Notice of Meeting and voting papers will be sent to shareholders with the Annual Report in mid October.
Woolgrowers can also view their shareholding details and voting entitlement online at www.wool.com.au/shares.
Woolgrowers will need their new SRN to access the online share registry section and view their details.
For more information on electronic shareholder communication options or their voting entitlement, AWI shareholders should phone ASX Perpetual tollfree on 1800 113 373.
