Artifacts from Iran and Pakistan have been able to lure lot may visitors at the International Consumer Trade Fair (ICTF), Qatar's biggest ever shopping event, which started on January 4, at the New Qatar International Exhibition Center.
Among 500 stands from traders of 38 countries including China, Egypt, India, Iran, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Poland and Syria, stalls offering carpets from Iran and antiques and silverware from Pakistan attracted the most attention.
Consumers can get glimpse of traditional handicraft of Iran displaying exquisite carpets. Traders are attaining a good response from local businessmen and are expecting a good sale this year.
Pakistani booth offers a large variety antiques, silverware and products made of nickel and zinc.
Visitors here have a wider choice of purchasing international products like furniture, lamps, bags, clothes, kids wear, menswear, shoes, handicrafts, perfumes, natural body products among others.
With an expected footfall of more than 80,000 and amount expended over US $22 million, the exposition will run till January 13.
