Pure benzene market continue to be dull

On February 14, crude oil market price fluctuated, over all Asian market outside China looked dull. Domestic pure benzene market sentiment was insipid, and market negotiation and discussion were limited.
On this day, price for Asian Market was influenced by downtrend in Europe and the United States. Asian pure benzene price fell US $5, closed at $1046.25-1047.25 per ton FOB Korea.
The day before, pure benzene price declined $18 per metric ton in Europe, lowered by $5.99 per mt to 376 cts per gallon ($1125.67/mt), in the United States.
In the domestic front, pure benzene market price remained stable. East China market price offered 8500-8550 yuan per ton, for South China it was 8500-8600 yuan per ton, and Northern market marked 8550-8650 yuan per ton.
Thus, it can be observed that crude oil market price was in correction, domestic market sentiment looked bland, demand was limited, and market trade volume remained flat. Traders expect that domestic pure benzene market will maintain a steady trend in short term.
