Mr. Rajiv Bansal (MD) Celestial Knits & Fabs gives his post-budget comments exclusively to Fibre2fashion, saying, "Basically being an export company the Budget has proved to be completely unhelpful to us."

The various SOPS offered in the past are going to be carried forward.

Mr Bansal lamented, "Even though Government has been aware of the garve problems faced by exporters, no effort has been made to cut down duties and tariff. Besides, rupee appreciation is consistently affecting the exporters and no support has been provided on this front either."

MD said that the Budget should have brought down corporate tax at least by 5 percent.

Finally, he said, "In this scenario, increased TUF funds allocation, though small, will prove to be an important benefit, especially since reimbursement can be quick here".
