A strong collaboration between ICE (the Italian Trade Commission for Foreign Trade) and trade organization ACIMIT is developing in order to promote “ikme – finishing & knitting” in the main countries of East Europe, North Africa and Middle East, to ensure a qualified and numerous participation of textile managers and technicians coming from these areas.
The exhibition will introduce the most advanced tecnological levels of textile finishing and knitting machinery in a single context.
In particular, ICE and ACIMIT have promoted a strong and wide advertising campaign with 80 issues on the main textile reviews of 22 countries in 2005.
A second initiative is the invitation – always from ICE and ACIMIT – of 48 textile VIP coming from 7 countries (Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Iran, Brazil, Russia, Syria) to visit “ikme – finishing & knitting”. To all these people will be offered , free of charge, journey, accommodation, meals during the five days of IKME.
ICE and ACIMIT will also invite 12 University teachers coming from Turkey, Egypt and Russia: these ones will enjoy the same treatment of the textile VIP.
For both the groups ICE and ACIMIT will organise special meetings with the exhibitors on the basis of their requests.
In order to promote the Italian textile machinery knowledge throughout the world, ACIMIT gives any kind ofinformation on the activity of the producers and organizes a wide range of promotional activities (such as exhibitions, technical seminars, missions in Italy and abroad, etc.) most of the time in collaboration with ICE (Italian Trade Commission).
