Exhibitor Fiera Milano opens new Milano exhibition centre

International exhibitions organizer Fiera Milano announced that the curtain rises on the new Milan exhibition centre. And also on the new uniforms for the Fiera Milano hostesses designed by Lidia Cardinale.

They will shortly make their debut during the two most important events for the Fashion system, Mipel, the leather goods exhibition, and Micam, the footwear exhibition. Born in 1920, with eighty-five candles proudly borne, Fiera Milano continues to make news, also thanks to the refined and essential style of the new uniforms created by this famous stylist.

Lidia Cardinale has interpreted the traditional garments of hostesses according to the dynamic and versatile personality of the company, giving a simple and feminine style the task of adding as much value as possible to the image of the Front Women at the new exhibition centre.

Totally made from intense China blue wool, the uniforms, comprising a co-ordinated jacket and skirt and a white popeline blouse, are enriched with green canetè edging. Designed to be totally wearable and enhance the elegance of young and dynamic women, they also feature woollen cell phone holders with elegant green profiles which blend in perfectly with the overall style.

Lidia Cardinale, a native of the 'deep south' as she like to define herself, moved to Milan when she was young. She obtained her diploma at the Brera Academy and then taught artistic education. Married, with two daughters who also design a collection for young people, in 1985 she created her own exclusive line called “Lidia Cardinale”, featuring brides dresses and prêt a porter which was exported to Saudi Arabia, China and Russia.
