Research Open House at NCSU College of Textiles

The sixth annual Research Open House of the North Carolina State University (NCSU) College of Textiles will be held on April 21, 2008 at the college.
The Open house will be thrown open with a welcome and introductory talk by Mr Blanton Godfrey, Dean of College of Textiles.
It will be followed by a poster session organised by the students. Dr. Cindy Istook will deliver the keynote address on functional apparels along with Dr. Russell Gorga on Nanotextiles and Dr. Peter Hauser on functionalized textiles.
The invitees will also get the opportunity to get a tour of the college and view a fashion show presented by students later in the evening.
The open house will provide a platform for students and faculty to meet industry leaders to discuss ongoing research projects.
