In the first quarter 2008, Thanh Hoa Province witnessed a strong growth in exports turnover. The region earned revenue worth nearly US $406 million, experiencing a boost of 26 percent in comparison with same period of 2007.
Experts from textile sector believe that such remarkable growth is seen as a ray of hope by the entrepreneurs as they are going through rough phase due to various reasons including high inflation, rise in raw material prices and lack of export orders.
Among the key export products of the province, surge of 24.7 percent is observed by textile and garment sector.
Viet Thanh Garment Company, one of the leading export enterprise of textile and apparel sector in the province, plays a major role in earning foreign currency.
