Upbeat scenario for textile machinery sector

China is the biggest textile producer and exporter in the world and this industry is growing by leaps and bounds. This rapid industrialization has made way for textile machinery sector and presenting huge opportunities for other countries.

China has grown to become top textile machines market in the world, accounting for almost 25 percent of the global textile machines sales.

Now, Italy is one of the major countries to export the textile machines to China. In 2005, Italy exported the textile machines worth 316 million European Dollars to China, accounting for 13.7 percent of the total textile machines market of China.

Italian weaving machines and finishing equipments, in particular, occupy a very large market share in China.

Italian textile machines producers are hopeful of grabbing and expanding their market share in China and have also expressed keen interest in investing here.

The vice chairman of the textile-industrial branch of China Council For the Promotion of International, Xu Yingxing said that Government's target was to build China as a strong textile country.

Italy has a developed and ,yet, growing textile machinery industry. Its advantage was the advanced know-how and use of R&D and latest technology, which is bound contribute highly on an international level.
