For quite a long time State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan had been attracting merchants from different countries, in order to sell various products.
Last week, the exchange inked 31 deals worth over US $174.535 million.
With rising demand in the international market, Turkmen petrochemical production was able to lure many traders across the globe. Dealers from Russia, Turkey, UAE, Switzerland and Bahamas procured polypropylene, A-92 gasoline, KO-20 kerosene and KT-2 technical kerosene from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Refineries.
Businessmen from Russia, Switzerland, Britain, Singapore, Iran, US and Virgin Islands paid huge amount for cotton lint and cotton waste, cotton fiber, knitwear, bedclothes, mattress cover, jersey cloth, cotton cloth and cotton yarn.
Perfumes were purchased by Chinese and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs and Russian and US merchants obtained cotton yarn, and washed Astrakhan wool.
Not only this domestic traders also acquired SN-80 base oil produced in the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, a carpet and waste of textile production worth 2.662 billion Turkmen manat.
