Kraton announces price increases for HSBC portfolio

Kraton Polymers continues to experience unprecedented cost increases derived from raw material, energy and packaging costs.

As a result of these aggressive cost drivers, we are announcing a general price increase, effective no later than July 1, 2008, of 200 Euro/MT in Europe, Africa and the Middle East for our HSBC portfolio, which is defined as our Kraton G SEBS and SEPS based polymers and compounds.

We appreciate our customers' continued business and understanding as Kraton continues to manage these difficult economic challenges.

We continue to strive to be the innovation leader, providing polymer solutions and value-added services that enable our customers to differentiate and succeed in their markets.
