The textile vendors selected to participate in the marketplace include Santa Fe Weaving Gallery (handwoven, block printed, or embellished scarves, wraps, tops, and accessories); Lao Textiles (handwoven silks from Laos); June Colburn Design (original designer clothing from California); Marion Hamilton Gallery (antique ethnic textiles and costumes); Pacific Arts Link (Lao and Thai silk yardage and bags); Bibelot owners Tom Tierney and Paul Sakai (Guatemalan and Japanese textiles); and Nui Imports (contemporary and vintage Japanese textiles, garments and accessories).
Other vendors include Big Island textile artist Leslee Giovale (Tropical Crush handbags); North Shore artist Victoria Gail-White (marbleized textiles); Shibori by Burgundy (original shibori designs); Tutuvi (original screen prints in yardage, wall hangings, and clothing); You You Tei (Japanese collector Yoku Tanaka's collection of special-commission kimono); UH Press, Native Books, and Taylor and Francis Group (rare and hard-to-find books on textile arts, techniques, artists); Kalanbandar (scarves and shawls from India, Laos, and Thailand); California artist Melissa Arnold (surface design textiles and art wear made from hand-dyed textiles); Fondazione Arte della Seta Lisio (handweavings of silk and velvet in Renaissance motifs); Tokidoki (kimono stencils, sakiori, pincushions and other objects made from obis and kimono textiles); and many others.
