Colombiatex: A road that leads to the United States

Located in Medellin, Colombia, 20 years old Colombiatex confirms its position as a leading textile trade fair for all Latin American countries.
The proximity to the United States makes Colombia one of their main suppliers and which is one of the reasons why companies like Alpargatas, Branyl, Cataguases, Cedro, Conformatec, Renaux, Horizonte Textil, Linhas Setta, Manufatora, Neotêxtil, Paraguaçu, Paramount, Rosset, Salotex, Santanense, Santista Textil, Textil Bezerra de Menezes, TDB, Tecelagem Hudtelfa, Vicunha and Zanotti presented their novelties at the event.
Supported by ABIT (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Association), Texbrasil Programme and APEX (Exports Promotion Agency), the Brazilian exhibitors believe that the Colombian market offers excellent opportunities, especially for denim and knits.
Buyers from the USA showed special interest in denim, professional uniforms, tops, accessories and various types of fabrics. The Mexican buyers bought fabrics and finished goods while Venezuelans chose underwear and apparel in general.
