Kraton Polymers continues to experience unprecedented raw material and energy related cost increases.

As a consequence, we are announcing a general price increase, effective no later than 1st August, 2008, of USD 440/MT, or 20cpp, in North American for our HSBC portfolio, which is defined as our Kraton G SEBS and SEPS based polymers and compounds.

We appreciate our customers' continued business and understanding as Kraton continues to manage these difficult, and volatile, economic challenges.

We continue to strive to be the innovation leader, providing polymer solutions and value-added services that enable our customers to differentiate and succeed in their markets.
