New viscose fibre project to start construction soon

The project of Xinjiang Fulida Fiber Co, Ltd for producing viscose fiber with an annual output of 200,000 tons is making a smooth progress in the Development Zone of Korla City.
Almost all the stages of planning, environmental assessment, site selection and other preparatory work have been completed successfully.
This project will require a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and will be spread over an area of 4,300 mu.
Essentially divided into two phases, construction of the first plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons of viscose will commence from September this year.
The project is expected to start commercial production by 2010 and will fetch a considerable output value every year.
