Techmart Vietnam 2005 - a multi-disciplinary expo at Ho Chi Minh City

Techmart Vietnam 2005, the national technology and equipment exposition began on October 12 in Ho Chi Minh City and will run thriugh October 16.

The exhibition includes technological products from all fields like mechanics, electronics, machinery production and chemistry to garment and textile, footwear, health care, agro-forestry and fishery. With 570 booths displaying over 2000 products, the fair will end on October 16. 40 foreign businessmen from Russia, The Republic of Korea and Singapore can put their technology and equipment on the show for visitors.

The fair will also conduct three seminars, which will go into intellectual property, science and technology transfers and technical obstacles in business.

Besides trading activities and services, the fair encourages local researchers for scientific research developments and technical solutions for reference that have been claimed by them for more than a decade.

Techmart Vietnam 2005 is likely to promote the capability of technological market in the country, said Pham Gia Khiem, Deputy Prime Minister.

The exhibition is organised by Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh in cooperation with The Ministry of Science and Technology.
