Hanoi Expo 2008 to kick start next month

Hanoi International Trade Fair (Hanoi Expo 2008) is one of the most important international trade and investment fairs in the country. This annual event is scheduled from October 8 to 13 at Vietnam exhibition fair center this year.

The Hanoi People's Committee is organizing the exhibition under the theme Hanoi Enterprise – Integration and Development.

This year nearly 300 Vietnamese entrepreneurs will participate in Hanoi Expo to showcase their wide range of products to various domestic and global buyers. The organizers will put up around 500 stalls for local businessmen and 80 booths for international participants from ASEAN countries China, Republic of Korea, India and EU.

All the participating companies will display their wide range of items that includes garments and home décor products. Along with all these items local artisans will also get a chance to showcase their interesting artifacts that reflect the tradition of the Vietnam.

The yearly held trade fair, is regarded as an excellent opportunity by the domestic as well as ASEAN businessmen to exchange their views and to meet new potential clients for enhancing trade.
