Italian yarn biggies dazzle at Shanghai SpinExpo

Italian yarn manufacturers became center of attraction at the 12th SpinExpo held from September 8 to 10, 2008 in Shanghai.
Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) had arranged for total of 18 companies, including Filatura di Pollone S.p.A., Filati Maclodio S.p.A and Olimpias S.p.A, to participate in this exhibition. Biggest wool purchaser in the world, Loro Piana S.p.A, also took part here.
These manufacturers showed unique and innovative yarn products for 2009 and won the hearts of most visitors.
Products included top cashmere, wool, as well as mixed yarns, focusing on 'innovation, science, technology' as well as 'green and eco-friendliness'. This reflects the trend in 2009.
Insiders inform that the 13th session of SpinExpo has been scheduled for late February 2009.
