The impact of global financial crisis is quite evident on the crude as well as propylene market. Prices for the both have slipped considerably in the recent times.
Most of the importing regions, Far East, Europe and the US showed a down trend on October 29, in comparison to the previous week.
Propylene prices in Far East region:
Propylene, FOB South Korea, at US $350-360 per ton.
Propylene prices in European region:
Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe, at Euro 905-915 per metric ton.
Propylene (polymerization level), CIF Northwest Europe, at Euro 895-905 per metric ton.
Price in the United States:
Propylene (refining level), FAS Houston, at US cent 21.000-21.250 per lb.
