Pret-a-Porter Busan, a platform to showcase natural talent

A three day event, titled Pret-a-Porter Busan, featuring Korean designers along with couturiers from China, Hong Kong, Japan and France at the three-day gala is scheduled to start from November 20 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO).

The above event provides a platform to the most talented fashion designers to showcase their creativity.

International designers like Eric Tibusch from Paris, Zou You from Beijing, Dorian Ho from Hong Kong, as well as Han Ahn Soon and Oka Masako from Tokyo will present their collection here.

Tibusch from France has the capacity to create a comfortable but sophisticated look by using luxurious materials.

Zou You from China, appearing for the first time in Korea, will showcase avant-garde suits, uneven shirts, detailed sewing and wrinkled sleeves.

Dorian Ho, a top designer from Hong Kong, who has expertise in creating the most feminine and alluring evening gowns, is expected to mesmerize the fashionistas of the event.

Japanese Han Ahn Soon will open the show at Pret-a-Porter Busan. Her creativity especially fusion designs of Korean and Japanese culture have attracted a lot of attention. For Spring/ Summer 2009 collection, she created casual but elegant designs that express both cute and cool looks.

The creator of eco-friendly fashion brand Ecomaco, Masako, known for using organic textiles to create light and transparent outfits, will present her collection themed 'Fashion for the Earth in Busan'.

Organizers are anticipating near about 15,000 spectators will visit Pret-a-Porter Busan, which aims to promote Busan as an international fashion city.

Another, three day event displaying Seoul Collection is scheduled to start from November 13 at the National Theater of Korea, Haneul Theater.

Top Korean designers namely Rubina, Jinteok, Park Youn-soo, Ro Sung-un, Bakangchi, Choi Ye-nok, Kim Dong-soon, Sul Yun-hyoung, Kim Ji-woon and Haneza will showcase their Spring/Summer 2009 collection in the event.
