Couromoda intensifies promotional campaign

Couromoda boosts the promotional actions in Brazil and abroad to ensure quality retailer, distributor and importer visits. The fostering program aiming at the forthcoming Couromoda, to be held from January 12th to 15th, 2009 started in September, channeling a series of announcements in the trade media in Brazil and abroad. This program will continue until November (overseas) and until December in Brazil.

Now, our team has started a telemarketing promotion to the retailers, e-letters and other internet actions, using at its most the effectiveness of the portal www.couromoda.com. These actions will convey to retailers and importers worldwide information that reinforce the importance of this major Brazilian fair, the first 2009 event of the yearly trade fairs calendar.

Direct contacts
The new actions consolidate the work carried out from July to the end of September, when the teams of Couromoda were participating in the major footwear fairs around the world, intensifying direct networking with buyers and potential visitors.

On the domestic market, the Program Couromoda Visits Brazil was also significant as it permitted management of the fair to meet personally several footwear and fashion accessories retailers in a number of Brazilian capitals. This program continues until December, pursued by important sales representatives that are supporting the actions of Couromoda and multiplying the promotional contacts with their retail clients.

Good prospects
For the president of Couromoda, Francisco Santos, Couromoda 2009 will show a new and positive moment for exports. ”Everything indicates that the dollar will stabilize at a new level, after the crisis of the markets and this will strengthen the position of Brazilian exporters. Our industry already stands at a new quality tier and an eventual improvement in the exchange rate will allow us to become more competitive”.
