Huge ethylene plant coming soon in Tianjin

According to officials from Tianjin Branch of China Petroleum & Chemical Co Ltd, overall construction progress of the ethylene project with annual production capacity of one million tons, is moving ahead quite smoothly.
Up till now, Tianjin invested around 13.67 billion yuan. Reportedly detailed designs of supporting items for the plant have been accomplished and installation of equipments and other material is expected to complete by the end of this year.
Presently, construction of large ethylene facility and other supporting projects like oil refineries, and thermal power installation is progressing as per schedule.
Overall construction proceeding of the ethylene plant and supporting projects is divided into segments like project designing, procurement of goods and materials and lastly on-site construction.
Currently, the construction work for the latter part in Tianjin Ethylene Project construction site, and installation is going on.
