Première Vision Moscou: creativity & business

Dec '08
For its 5th edition, held this past 1 and 2 October 2008 at the Manège, Première Vision Moscou presented a unique and especially creative offer of fabrics and accessories to Russian fashion professionals.

Over the course of two days the salon registered nearly 1,200 visits by professionals coming to discover the offer of 100 exhibitors from some 13 countries. These companies presented their autumn winter 09_10 collections for the men's women's and sportswear markets.

Russian buyers lauded the most creative products, those lending an actual added-value to their collections. The growing interest for an offer allying quality and creativity demonstrates the evolution of the Russian fashion market, currently in full expansion. Moscow remains the most active area, but other regional centres are also quite dynamic, including Saint Petersburg, Nijni Novgorod and Rostov-on-the-Don.

An element of the show particularly worth noting were the fruitful contacts forged by numerous exhibitors with buyers coming from the Ukraine, Byelorussia and Kazakhstan.

This is due to the intense field and promotional work that Première Vision has invested over the past two years in both regions and in the countries of the CIS.

Beyond the quality offer presented each session, Première Vision also brought to Moscow its know-how and specific fashion information tools:

The Fabric Forum: a selection of exhibitors' most distinctive samples. A practical tool to stimulate visitors' inspiration in the research and design of their collections. The Vision 09_10 film, shown in the forum, provides another viewpoint onto the season. The Colour Area: the dominant colours of the season presented in the form of a giant, practical and spectacular colour card.

The Fashion Seminar: an exclusive rendezvous for buyers of the colour card/range. Providing colour harmony directions by market, and additional insight into the season's fabric highlights.

Upcoming dates:
In Paris for Première Vision / Première Vision Pluriel – from 10 to 13 February 2009
In Moscow for Première Vision Moscou - 11 and 12 March 2009
