'India Show 2009' to be hosted from May 18 - 20

To strengthen Indo-Oman relations, the India Show 2009 will be hosted from May 18 – 20, 2009 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It is an excellent platform to exhibit, popularize and captitalise on the rapidly increasing market for Indian products, services offered by Indian exporters, manufacturers, suppliers and dealers, all under one roof!

Now, in its 2nd year, India Show will address the growing demand for Indian products and services, further boosting Trade and Economic relationships between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India.

India Show will provide a special opportunity to:
-Cater to the requirements of the large NRI's population in Oman and the region
-Showcase a complete range of products and services to existing and potential consumers in Oman
-Promote services, forge ties and build corporate alliances
Create brand awareness in the GCC region

Over the last two years, Oman and India have experienced tremendous economic boom, with trade volumes between the two countries rising significantly from $946 million in 2006 to $1.8 billion in 2007. The trade volume is projected to cross up to $2 billion in 2008.

The growing Indian community and strong bilateral ties between the two countries have paved the way for the growth of Indian investments and strengthened economic ties, not only in Oman but across the GCC region.
