Representatives of the Classic Coir Factory, Kerela were satisfied with their participation at Heimtextil India. While they also exhibit at other carpet fairs in Europe, they received good orders from European buyers at the fair.

Australian designers of fabric and wallpaper Anastasia and Tim Rouse were overwhelmed by the response they received for their intricate designs. Not only did many exhibitors themselves express interest to buy their designs, but they also received enquiries from local visitors from designers and mills. "This is our second participation at Heimtextil India and we are extremely satisfied with the show. The Indian market is so rich in textiles, but Indian manufacturers are open for new designs and influences and we are very keen to work with this industry."

Visiting the fair, Mr. A. B. Joshi, Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, said, "The fair was extremely well organized and maintained truly international standards. The combination of Heimtextil India & Texworld India is a good thing. It will encourage more buyers as both industries are interconnected."

Mr. Shah from Universal Overseas Ltd was upbeat about his participation. "We were very satisfied with the quality of international visitors to Heimtextil India. The current market slump may take time to recover but as long as we have such professional shows in India we can rest assured that our business will remain unaffected by any downturn."

Mr. S. S. Arora, Director from Rainbow Denims Limited was very content with the organization of the fair. "Honestly, we would like to appreciate your die-hard commitment to the exhibitors. Your follow ups and the ability to keep all the concerned people in the loop was amazing. I was constantly monitoring the flow of emails, you'll were always on top of the situation. As such I am sure, all the exhibitors were aware of what was happening before the fair commenced and no one was put through any inconvenience. Thank you very much for your efforts. I eagerly await to participate in Textile Days India 2009."

At Texworld India, while most Indian apparel fabric manufacturers confirmed a drop of 30 - 40% in sales due to the economic slump, they were satisfied with the many new contacts they made. Most are quite confident that the textile business will recover in a year or two.
