Propylene prices after growing for most part of the past five weeks took a break and reversed trends to decline in the Far East Region. Propylene prices for FOB South Korea fell from US $876-878 per ton to $ 851-853 per ton, a fall of nearly $25 per ton, when compared with prices on April 9.
After having fallen in the previous week, Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest stayed flat at €422-432 per metric ton and €407-417 per metric ton, respectively, when compared with those prevailing on April 9.
The US markets, which had rebounded in the previous two weeks, fell from US cent 23.005-23.255 per lb to US cent 22.505-22.755 per lb on April 14.
