MEGlobal and Shell increase MEG (ACP) for arrivals in May

MEGlobal, the biggest worldwide producer of Monoethylene Glycol (MEG), has recently announced the Asian Contract Price (ACP) for arrivals in May, which stands at US $600 per MT CFR Asian main ports.
Meanwhile Shell also nominated its MEG Asian contract price for May at $580 per MT (CFR, L/C 90days). Both have in effect raised their Asian Contract Prices which prevailed for arrivals in the month of April.
It may be recalled that the MEG ACP prices released for arrivals in April by MEGlobal and Shell stood at $540 and $560 per metric ton respectively, which means MEGlobal has raised prices by $60 per ton and Shell by $20 per ton.
