Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc., is presenting at the Sixth International Conference of the European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA) on May 28th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the Hotel am Rhein in Wesseling, Germany.
Representing the company will be its co-founder and COO Jason Finnis who will discuss the company's plan to commercialize Crailar(r) technology for the pulp and paper and textiles industries.
The Sixth International Conference of the EIHA established itself as an expert meeting of the natural fiber branch in Europe and also world-wide. Experts from all over the world will meet each other to exchange information about the latest developments concerning hemp and other natural fibers, and about hemp seeds and oil in nutrition.
Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc. is committed to unlocking the potential of renewable and environmentally sustainable biomass resources from hemp and other bast fibers. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Crailar Fiber Technologies Inc., is developing proprietary technologies for production of bast fibers, cellulose pulp, and their resulting by-products, in collaboration with Canada's National Research Council and the Alberta Research Council.
