Foreign governments are strongly supporting the American footwear & accessories market and have already confirmed plans to attend The WSA Show and Materials at WSA, July 31–August 2, 2009. Companies from all over the globe will invest in the twice-yearly exhibition within The WSA Show in order to stay top of mind with today's leading brands and to reach key decision-makers in the U.S. footwear industry.

Over 40 percent of the suppliers and contract manufacturers exhibiting from Korea, Japan, India, China and Pakistan are new to The WSA Show. The upcoming exhibition is sure to deliver new and exciting resources, materials, trends and price points to the most extensive assortment of designers, product developers and sourcing professionals from all over the world.

BFIPC (Busan Footwear Industrial Promotion Center) will return to this summer's exhibition, showcasing eight of Korea's top textile and materials companies, two of which are newcomers to the show. First-time exhibitors include Milim Corp. and Fine Inc., while those returning include Baeksan Co. Ltd., Idea World Co. Ltd., I-Masti, A-jin Chemical Co., GB Light Co. Ltd. and WIG Korea.

“Not only is The WSA Show the largest comprehensive footwear exhibition in the U.S., but it provides the companies in Korea Pavilion with the opportunity to meet an incredible array of buyers. We're positive that this is the best and most beneficial footwear show for them,” said Henry Shin, marketing manager, BFIPC (organizer of Korea Pavilion).

Also hailing from Korea, and returning to Materials at WSA for a fourth time, is Daewoo International Corp. The industry leader manufactures high-quality footwear materials, including eco-friendly synthetic leathers, ultra-microfiber suede and other unique materials that set trends in the footwear industry.

Japanese exhibitors L.P.D. Co. Ltd. and Marubeni America Corp. will join the Show for the first time in the Contract Manufacturing section, to show off their women's and children's lines, respectively, as well as their factory capabilities.

Materials at WSA will take place within The WSA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center July 31–August 2, 2009.
