X'ian Jihua Home Textile Co.Ltd., based in Shanxi has developed a new towel product which has been dyed with vegetable dyes. Experts believe that a towel dyed with vegetable dyes gives it an aura of sustainability other than being eco-friendly.
Since the company was established 60 years ago, Jihua has been mainly producing towels and the company has sustained on the basis of technological innovation by continuously introducing new products with its sales revenue surpassing 100 million Yuan.
It is reported that the company started extracts from the plants since the second half of last year, and process the towels through high-tech finishing process. The plant dyeing towels are naturally soft, fluffy, non-toxic, harmless and non-polluting.
They also have high value-added, high economic and social benefits. These products are qualified under 'FZ/T62006-2004' towel standards. The company has also received ISO9001 quality management system certification for the same.
The company started in May 1949 is one of the biggest towel manufactories in China and employs more than 1500 people in the company. It has 400 sets of looms and imported processing machines and has an output of 2,400,000 dozen towels per annum.
