TAI to host conference on 'Global Textiles' in Indore

The Textile Association (India) – established in 1939 and now TAI is the single largest body of the textile professionals and technocrats in the world having more than 22,000 members with 27 affiliated Units spread throughout the length and breadth of the country. It has its own prestigious and majestic position among the hearts of people dealing in textiles.

It organizes seminars, conferences, workshops and exhibition of textile and allied machinery for the benefits of its members serving the textile industry. To provide strength & impetus to this aspect, the Textile Association (India) acts as a potent link amongst the Industry, Policy Makers, Academia and Textile Professionals.

The Association organizes annual All India Textile conferences to strengthen the ties amongst industry, policy makers, academia and textile professionals. We are delighted & proud to inform that the 65th All India Textile Conference is being hosted by The Textile Association (India), Madhya Pradesh Unit once again after its enormous success in 1956, 1984 & 1991.

The Conference with the theme “Global Textiles – Business Process Optimization” will be a great morale booster for the Indian Textile Industry. This conference to be held on 24th & 25th January 2010 at Hotel Sayaji, Near Megdhoot Garden, Vijay Nagar, Indore – 452 003 (M.P.). The theme of past conferences indicates how progressively, the textile industry has been responding to the forces of globalization.

All our Conferences organized by TAI have always selected contemporary & innovative topics and high profile speakers. This Conference is no exception. Eminent industrialists, policy makers, reputed professionals and renowned experts from different parts of the world will present their papers to the equally high profile over 900 participants.

During this conference there will be Poster Presentation by the Textile Educational Institutes on various topics textiles from fibre to fashion. The Textile Association is also organizing EXHIBITION of Textile Machinery & Allied Sectors - TAIEx 2010. This 3 days exhibition will be of Textile Machinery, Accessories, Spares & Logistics etc. The Textile Association (India) – M.P. Unit is ready to showcase the modern developments during January 23rd – 25th 2010 at Hotel Sayaji, Indore.

The visiting hours are from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. The expected visitors will be around 30,000 from all over India and some of the neighboring Countries covering Chairmen / Managing Directors / Executives and shop floor technicians during three days. This exhibition would also give an opportunity for the textile mills to plan their ongoing and future investments in the mills. Association would like to appeal all the textile mills to visit the exhibition and derive maximum benefits.

At this time of financial & economic turmoil, this conference comes right in time and is a golden opportunity for the textile fraternity to come together and help the industry by sharing new and innovative ideas to move ahead, in an attempt to revamp the Indian Textile Industry. Let's all get together and make this initiative- the 65th All India Textile Conference a grand success.
