Messe Frankfurt introduces their key visual for Texprocess, leading international trade fair for the processing of textiles and flexible materials. The visual represents the start of Messe Frankfurt's worldwide campaign for the sector's new leading trade fair, which will celebrate its premiere from 24 to 27 May 2011 in Frankfurt am Main.

The Garment and Leather Technology Association of the Federation of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau – VDMA) will be our partner for Texprocess.

In the words of Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt: "With Texprocess, we are establishing the leading international trade fair for the entire textile-processing and apparel industry. The key visual is the start of our multi-level campaign for the new leading trade fair, which we are now about launch worldwide with the help of our international marketing network."

From 2011 onwards, Texprocess will take place every two years in Frankfurt am Main in parallel with Techtextil, international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens. Some 500 international exhibitors will be presenting their new products at Texprocess over a floor area of around 50,000 square metres.

The sector's new leading international trade fair will be supported by the Garment and Leather Technology Association of the Federation of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers (Verband Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbau – VDMA) which represents some 90 per cent of technology manufacturers based in Germany, providers of anything from CAD software, cutting-out systems, sewing machines and sewing needles to ironing and finishing technology, as well as transport and logistical elements.

These include, amongst others, international market leaders such as Dürkopp Adler, Expert Systemtechnik, Ferd. Schmetz, Groz-Beckert and Veit. The spectrum of products and services at Texprocess includes the entire gamut of processing technologies for textiles and flexible materials and is aimed at a public working in industrial areas such as apparel manufacture, textile-processing, the processing of technical textiles, in wholesale and retail, in trades, crafts and services as well as in scientific and training establishments. Some 25,000 trade and professional visitors are expected, with 50 per cent of them coming from outside Germany.

By holding Texprocess in parallel with Techtextil, we create a powerful duo of two leading international trade fairs with approximately 1,700 exhibitors and some 50,000 visitors from 120 different nations. Leading manufacturers see in the parallel Techtextil the opportunity for better penetration into the growth market of technical textiles.

Messe Frankfurt has a unique degree of expertise in the field of textiles, with more than 30 trade fairs for the international textile industry, and covers the entire textile value creation chain from fabrics, materials and clothing to fashion, processing and the care of fabrics.
