NRF's 99th Annual Convention & EXPO to be held in Jan 2010

More than 17,500 retail executives and 600 exhibitors from around the world will convene at the National Retail Federation's 99th Annual Convention & EXPO, the world's largest retail educational forum and trade show.

NRF offers retailers free passes to its EXPO Hall, a must-see area with more than 600 vendors showcasing products, technologies and services for retailers of all sizes. Free retailer passes also include entry to the NRF DESiGN STUDiO, which showcases the latest in store planning and design. Retailers and store design professionals can utilize the Free pass on Monday and Tuesday, January 11-12 during regular show hours. A retailer by our definition is someone who sells to consumers via storefront, catalogue, TV or online. If you sell products or services to a retail company, we consider that business to business. And, individuals selling business to business are NOT considered retail.

EXPO Floor Hours: Monday, January 11, 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, January 12, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Convention Days: Sunday, January 10 – Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Design Studio Hours: Monday, January 11 and Tuesday, January 12, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

NRF's Annual Convention and EXPO serves as the world's leading retail event, bringing 17,500 retail executives and vendors from more than 60 countries together for educational and networking opportunities. NRF's EXPO floor, open on Monday and Tuesday of the Convention, hosts more than 600 exhibiting companies and features a one-of-a-kind DESiGN STUDiO. NRF's Convention is ranked as one of the Top 200 events in North America, as well as one of the 50 fastest-growing events, according to Tradeshow Week.

The National Retail Federation is the world's largest retail trade association, with membership that comprises all retail formats and channels of distribution including department, specialty, discount, catalog, Internet, independent stores, chain restaurants, drug stores and grocery stores as well as the industry's key trading partners of retail goods and services. NRF represents an industry with more than 1.6 million U.S. retail establishments, more than 24 million employees - about one in five American workers - and 2008 sales of $4.6 trillion.
