According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, exports of Chinese textile and garment products experienced year-on-year plunge of 11.4 percent in initial 11 months of the current year.
Shrink in demand for these products in overseas markets caused this export fall, said the Ministry. However, in the month of November this year, the export delivery value of textile enterprises witnessed year-on-year increase of 7.8 percent and grew by 0.1 percent in October.
Whereas, in the months of March and June the export delivery value of textile enterprises dropped down by 8.4 percent and 7 percent respectively.
