The National Retail Federation's Associate Member Advisory Council has elected a new Chairman and Vice Chairman of the members-only committee and has elected four new members.

Jay Heavilon, President and co-Founder of ARS Interactive, was elected committee chairman, replacing Walter F. Loeb, who served as Chairman for the last four years. Heavilon previously served as Vice Chairman for the past two years. Additionally, the committee elected Lindsay Parker, Chief Marketing Officer and Director, Global Retail Solutions for Cisco Systems, Inc. as Vice Chair.

Additionally, four new members were also elected to the committee:

• Anne Brouer, Senior Partner, McMillan Doolittle
• Joseph Coradino, President, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust
• Frank Riso, Retail Executive, Industry Solutions Group, Motorola
• Adel Sayegh, President and CEO, Universal Surveillance Systems

The NRF Associate Member Advisory Council ensures the needs of NRF's growing associate member base and provides feedback to NRF on pressing issues within the retail community. In 2009, AMAC launched the new Retail Reference Center on NRF's website, which serves as a consortium of original research, case studies and other benchmarking reports submitted by NRF's associate membership.

The next AMAC meeting will take place during a Town Hall meeting at NRF's 99th Annual Convention, where members can discuss and share insight into how NRF can better serve the needs of their retail member base.
