TenCate receives significant defence orders

TenCate has been granted significant orders concerning antiballistic composite materials. These defence orders - which will take several years to complete - are amounting to in total € 40 million. Follow-up orders are not excluded.

Thanks to the new orders, TenCate Advanced Armour will be engaged for several years in the design, production and integration of armour systems with respect to vehicle protection programs.

Given the confidentiality of these projects, TenCate has received no clearance for giving further information regarding the nature and geographical origin of these orders.

Royal Ten Cate (TenCate) is a multinational company which combines textile technology with related chemical processes and material technology in the development and production of functional materials with distinctive characteristics. Products of TenCate are sold worldwide.

Systems and materials from TenCate come under four areas of application: safety & protection, space & aerospace, infrastructure & the environment, and sport & recreation. TenCate occupies leading positions in protective fabrics, composites for space and aerospace, antiballistics, geosynthetics and synthetic turf. TenCate is listed on the NYSE Euronext.
