Arunachal Pradesh to host handloom expo

A 15-day Special Handloom Expo will open from February 16, 2010 in Arunachal Pradesh. The event has been organized by the Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd. Dimapur and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.

Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd, Mr. N Hushili Sema, offered information regarding the event in a press release, according to which, the interested Co-operative Societies, NGO's, Apex Societies, SHG's, etc. can submit applications to participate in the expo, to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Dimapur, till 8 February, 2010, during the office hours.

Each stall in the event will be provided free of cost with daily allowances, as well as the participants will receive travel allowances for travel by 2nd class train and bus.
