Job working is a unique phenomenon to Tirupur, with their number increasing by the day has led to surplus capacity. Thus a special pavilion created for the members of Tirupur Industrial Federation comprising of job-workers of Knitting, Printing, Embroidery, Compacting etc., will provide them an opportunity to solicit new business leads to keep their capacity going.

Technical Textiles is the logical extension of the well entrenched textiles industry verticals all over the world. Given its scope of high value addition in exports as well as emerging scope within the domestic market, Knitwear has created a platform for the visitors to understand the potential and the scope in this sector through a pavilion for technical textiles which is presented by Bangalore based Tecnitex Textiles.

The entire event has been strategized and collaborated with the activate direction and guidance of Textiles Committee, Tirupur.

OBJECTIVE OF KNIT TEX IS, THROUGH INTERACTION OF THE INDUSTRY TO:

•Facilitate technological up gradation, •Enhancement of productivity, •Quality consciousness, •Strengthening of the raw material base, •Product diversification, •Increase in exports at competitive prices, •Innovative marketing strategies, •Financing arrangements

Strategic Partner Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Technical Textiles Pavillion is brought by Bangalore based Tenitex Non-Wovens.

The event is endorsed and supported by Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA), Knit Cloth Manufacturers Association (KNITMA), Tirupur Knit-Cloth Manufacturers Association (TEKMA), Tirupur Industrial Federation (TIF), Tirupur Export Knit Printers Association (TEKPA).
