The recently concluded handlooms and handicraft fair in Bhubaneswar has attracted spot orders for Rs 7 million worth of goods from foreign buyers.
The fair which was held over two days from February 24, attracted buyers from 33 overseas countries which include US, France, Poland, Netherland, Spain, Brazil and New Zealand.
Talks are also underway which could see orders for Rs 10 million fructifying in the next few days, according to Ms Arti Ahuja, Secretary in the Orissa Handloom and Handicrafts department.
