Session on Textiles, Apparels & Technical Textiles in GIM by FICCI

Government of Karnataka is organizing Global Investor Meet(GIM) in June 2010 to attract investment in the state. FICCI is coordinating the session on Textiles, Apparels & Technical Textiles in Global Investor Meet. As a prelude to GIM, FICCI and Government of Karnataka, in cooperation with AEPC (Apparel Export Promotion Council), are organizing the captioned Interactive Session with the stakeholders in entire textile value chain as per the following schedule:

Venue:Orchid Hall, Hotel Le-Meridien, Bangalore

Mr. Paramesh Pandey, Commissioner for Textile Development & Director of Handlooms & Textiles, Government of Karnataka has kindly agreed to address and interact with the delegates.

The objective of the meeting is to identify and deliberate on the policy measures required to attract large investments in Karnataka in the textiles and Garments sector and developing an integrated value chain of textiles industry in the State.
