In the previous week, CPL quotes rose slightly. CPL price stood at 21,000 Yuan / ton, Nylon 6 filament yarn (chip grade and conventional spinning) at 23,000 Yuan / ton. Trade volume of nylon filament in Shengze and Jiaxing markets witnessed upward trend, but prices in the two markets remained stable.

Looking at variety trends in the two markets, shipment volume of market mainstream items 40D/12F, 70D/24F nylon-6FDY enlarged in late week with prices quoting at 28,300 Yuan/ ton and 26,300 Yuan /ton, respectively.

Sales volume of nylon FDY yarn 40D and 70D slightly increased. Sales of 100D nylon-6FDY too has improved recently, as it is mainly used to produce bag fabrics on water jet looms.

160D nylon yarn was traded at 26,200 Yuan / ton and is mainly used to produce talon fabrics by blending with 70D/24F nylon. Demand for 30D/1F semi-dull nylon monofilament (excellent) in downstream sector continued to rise, it is used to produce scarf yarn and wedding yarn on water jet looms.

Judging from the situation of lower reaches, downstream fabric market was brisk, movements of nylon filament woven fabrics were quiet and manufacturers of nylon yarn woven fabrics adopted the principle of purchasing materials as per requirement.
