Expo 2010 receives excellent response

Vietnam Expo 2010, an International Trade Fair opened on April 14 in Hanoi, and is witnessing a participation of around 400 businesses, both domestic as well as international.
The foreign businesses have come from 17 countries and territories including US, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Cuba, Laos and Cambodia.
Visitors at the expo can experience an array of a number of products such as garments, jewelry, leather and footwear, fine art and handicraft articles, decorative items, on display.
This fair is a substantial platform, for Vietnamese businesses, that offer a good opportunity to gather information, set up links with overseas business entities and diversify trade in foreign countries to amplify exports.
This annual fair, which has been conducted 19 times, has become one of the country's most important trade development activity to boost domestic market and promote exports, said the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bien.
