According to a Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) report, till April 17, Sindh had produced 4.234 million cotton bales as compared to 4.232 million cotton bales, reported in the last fortnight, indicating a growth of 1,600 bales
The overall cotton output across the country, till April 17, touched 12.692 million bales. On the other hand, Punjab produced 8,457,899 bales in contrast to 8,457,299 bales, reported in the previous fortnight, witnessing a growth of 600 bales.
Ginneries across the country received a total of 12.692 million cotton bales, as compared to last fortnight's 12.689 million bales, registering a growth of 2,200 bales. Overall, 12.562 million bales was traded to mills and exporters, wherein the textile mill-owners bought 11.767 million bales and exporters acquired 795,648 bales.
